Richmond police shooting justified
Chesterfield police have determined that a shooting by a Richmond police detective Aug. 2 a block or so outside the city limits was justifiable. Richmond police Detective Paul R. Jenkins shot Mark Andrew Weaver, 43, in the 3100 block of Dulwich Drive after giving him several warnings. Dulwich Drive is just south of Walmsley Boulevard, about three-quarters of a mile west of Jefferson Davis Highway.
